Paint Correction is the refined and technical term for polishing a vehicle’s painted parts with a machine. Other more commonly known terms are: buffing, buff and polish, cut and polish. There are three stages of paint correction.

Service Price

Buffing Stages Explanation

Gloss Enhancement Polish
Defects Removed:
Light swirls, light marring, minor water marks and acid etching and minor oxidisation.

Exceptions:
Will not remove major swirls, deeper marring and scratches. Will not remove major acid etchings or heavy water marks.


STAGE 2 Paint Correction
Defects Removed:
Medium to Heavy Swirl Marks, deeper marring and scratches. Deeper Acid etching like bird droppings stains and water marks. Removes heavy oxidisation.

Exceptions:
Will not remove the deepest possible scratches but will greatly improve them if possible. Achieves good clarity and gloss but not the absolutely pinnacle.


STAGE 3 Paint Correction
Defects Removed:
Any possible paint defects that can be removed is corrected during this process using all available methods.

Exceptions:
Only defects or damage beyond correction will remain.
